Who are we?

Charles Morris Hall village hall, Tyttenhanger Green, is on the outskirts of St Albans, Hertfordshire. The Hall is available for hire by individuals or groups and hosts local events. It can be hired on a repeat basis or can be hired as a one-off booking.

Why we have a Privacy Policy

Charles Morris Hall Management Committee members may need to collect information from you in order to tell you about our activities, events and services. If you hire the Hall we (the Charles Morris Hall Management Committee) will hold data about you for booking and invoicing purposes.

What type of information is collected from you?

  • Information provided through our Enquiry Form for individuals, such as such as name, telephone number, e-mail address, and postal address
  • Information provided in the Hall booking Form, such as name, telephone number, e-mail address, and postal address
  • Information provided to us when you communicate with us for any reason

If you proceed with a booking and use our online payment, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processor, who specialises in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions.

Any forms or documents that we need you to complete (manually or electronically) will ask for your consent and be clear about what the information will be used for if you choose to provide it. There will be some circumstances where we are only able to provide you with services if you consent to providing necessary information, for example, Hall bookings.

All physical data will be held securely in a locked cabinet in a non-public location, accessible only by designated committee members.
